Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Once melted, remove from heat and stir in sugar.
- Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla.
- In a bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in half of the strawberries.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
Baking
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow brownies to cool.
Topping
- Melt chocolate chips with vegetable oil in a microwave or double boiler.
- Dip the remaining strawberries in melted chocolate and place them on top of the brownies.
- Drizzle leftover chocolate over the top for decoration.
- Let the chocolate set before cutting and serving.
Notes
Enhance flavor by adding a pinch of espresso powder to the brownie batter. Customize by mixing in nuts or different fruits along with the strawberries. Serve warm for a gooey texture or cold for a firmer bite.
