Ingredients
  

Brownie Base
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Ganache and Topping
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (for ganache)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (for ganache)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  3. Beat in flour, cocoa, and salt until just combined. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
Baking
  1. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  2. Allow brownies to cool completely in the pan.
Ganache Preparation
  1. In a small saucepan, heat heavy cream until just boiling.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips until melted and smooth.
  3. Pour the chocolate ganache over the cooled brownies, spreading evenly.
Finishing Touch
  1. Top with sliced strawberries and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before cutting into squares.
  2. Serve and enjoy your indulgent treat!

Notes

Drizzle extra chocolate over the top for added sweetness. Feel free to substitute other fruits like raspberries or bananas for variety.
