Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn) Can use fresh or frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 package refrigerated pie crusts

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, mixed vegetables, cream of chicken soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Roll out one pie crust and place it into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  4. Pour the chicken mixture into the crust.
  5. Roll out the second pie crust and place it on top of the filling. Seal the edges and cut slits in the top crust for venting.
Cooking
  1. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
  2. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Enhance flavor by adding herbs like thyme or rosemary. Customize with different veggies or cheese for a unique spin. Serve with a side of mashed potatoes for an extra comfort food twist.
