  • 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded or cubed
  • 1.5 cups cooked ham, diced
  • 2 cups shredded Swiss cheese, divided
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs, plain or seasoned optional
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, diced ham, and 1 ½ cups of Swiss cheese.
  3. In another bowl, mix sour cream, milk, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the creamy mixture over the chicken and ham, and stir well to combine.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  6. Top with remaining Swiss cheese and bread crumbs if using. Drizzle with melted butter.
Cooking
  1. Bake for 45 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

Notes

Serve immediately from the oven and pair with a fresh salad or crusty bread for a complete meal. For flavor enhancement, add herbs like parsley or thyme.
