Ingredients
  

Meat and Seasoning
  • 1 lb ground beef High-quality ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
Cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Bread and Butter
  • 4 slices sourdough or white bread Can use any preferred bread
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened For grilling
Garnish
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional) For garnishing

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until the onion is translucent.
  3. Season with salt and pepper, then add Worcestershire sauce and beef broth. Let it simmer until the liquid reduces.
  4. Butter one side of each slice of bread. Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
Grilling
  1. Place two slices of bread, butter side down, on the skillet. Add cheddar cheese, the beef mixture, and mozzarella cheese on top.
  2. Place the remaining bread slices on top, butter side up.
  3. Grill each side for 3–4 minutes until golden and the cheese melts, flipping carefully.
  4. Slice and serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a dash of hot sauce or some chopped jalapeños to the beef mixture. You can customize by swapping in different cheeses like pepper jack or gouda. Serve with a side of dipping sauces such as ranch or BBQ for added excitement.
