- In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until the onion is translucent.
- Season with salt and pepper, then add Worcestershire sauce and beef broth. Let it simmer until the liquid reduces.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread. Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
Grilling
- Place two slices of bread, butter side down, on the skillet. Add cheddar cheese, the beef mixture, and mozzarella cheese on top.
- Place the remaining bread slices on top, butter side up.
- Grill each side for 3–4 minutes until golden and the cheese melts, flipping carefully.
- Slice and serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a dash of hot sauce or some chopped jalapeños to the beef mixture. You can customize by swapping in different cheeses like pepper jack or gouda. Serve with a side of dipping sauces such as ranch or BBQ for added excitement.
