Ingredients

For the Chicken Filling
  • 2 large large chicken breasts, diced Use fresh chicken for best flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For cooking the chicken.
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
Wrap Ingredients
  • 4 large flour tortillas Can substitute with gluten-free tortillas.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Feel free to mix different cheeses.
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup creamy garlic sauce Add extra for dipping if desired.
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh parsley, chopped For garnish.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine the diced chicken with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper, ensuring the chicken is evenly coated with the seasonings.
Cooking
  1. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add the seasoned chicken to the pan and cook for about 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is golden and fully cooked through.
  2. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Assembly
  1. Lay the tortillas out on a flat surface. Spread a layer of creamy garlic sauce over each tortilla.
  2. Evenly distribute the cooked chicken on top of each tortilla and sprinkle with shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
  3. Fold the tortillas over the filling, creating a wrap.
  4. In the same non-stick pan, grill the folded wraps for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the cheese is melted and the tortillas are golden and crispy.
  5. Remove from the pan and cut each wrap in half. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley, if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

For added flavor, consider incorporating spicy peppers or sautéed onions. Wraps can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the refrigerator or frozen for up to 3 months before grilling.
