  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 cups frozen French fries Can be replaced with fresh French fries.
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded Other cheese varieties can be used for customization.
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Pickles and ketchup for topping (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion until the beef is browned, and the onion is soft. Drain any excess fat.
  3. In a bowl, mix the cooked beef and onion with milk, cream of mushroom soup, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  4. Spread half of the frozen French fries in a greased baking dish.
  5. Pour the beef mixture over the fries, then top with the remaining French fries.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until the fries are crispy and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
