Ingredients
  

For the Caramelized Bananas
  • 4 pieces ripe bananas Peeled and sliced
  • 3/4 cup sugar For caramelizing the bananas
For the Ice Cream Base
  • 1 cup heavy cream For a rich and creamy texture
  • 1 cup milk Whole milk is recommended
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon For flavor enhancement
  • 1 pinch salt To balance sweetness

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Peel and slice the bananas.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, add the bananas and sugar. Cook until the bananas are caramelized, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.
Mixing the Ice Cream Base
  1. In a blender, combine the caramelized bananas, heavy cream, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt. Blend until smooth.
  2. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
Churning
  1. Pour the mixture into an ice cream churner and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
  2. Transfer the ice cream to a container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
Serving
  1. Serve and enjoy in bowls or cones.

Notes

For flavor enhancement, add a splash of rum or bourbon. Customize with chocolate chips or caramel before freezing.
