Ingredients
  

For the crust
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
For the cheesecake filling
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 medium apples, peeled, cored, and diced
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until combined, then press into the bottom of the baking dish.
  3. In another bowl, beat together sugar and cream cheese until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing until well combined.
  4. Fold in diced apples, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Pour the mixture over the graham cracker crust.
  5. Drizzle caramel sauce over the top and use a knife to swirl it into the cheesecake mixture.
Baking
  1. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until set.
  2. Allow to cool before cutting into bars and serving.

Notes

Enhance flavor by adding chopped nuts or chocolate chips. Customize with your favorite fruits. Serve with vanilla ice cream for indulgence. Keep bars in refrigerator for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
