  • 2 pieces chicken breasts Boneless, skinless
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning Adjust to taste
  • 8 ounces pasta (fettuccine or penne) Cook according to package instructions
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 piece onion, chopped Medium-sized
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • to serve Parmesan cheese Grated
  • for garnish Fresh parsley Chopped

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side.
  3. Remove chicken from skillet and slice.
  4. In the same skillet, add chopped onions and minced garlic, sautéing until soft.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Add cooked pasta and sliced chicken to the skillet, tossing to coat.
  6. Season with salt and pepper. Serve with Parmesan cheese and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

Enhance flavor by adding a splash of lemon juice for freshness. Customize by adding vegetables like bell peppers or spinach. Serve with crusty bread to soak up the delicious cream sauce.
