Ingredients
  

Filling
  • 1 lb Ground Chicken Can be substituted with ground turkey or lean beef.
  • 6 slices Cooked Bacon Crumble before use.
  • 1/2 cup Buffalo Sauce Adjust for spice preference.
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 8 oz Mozzarella Cheese Cut into cubes.
Coating
  • 1 cup Plain Flour
  • 2 large Eggs Beaten.
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs Panko or regular for extra crunch.
  • 2 cups Vegetable Oil or Canola Oil For frying.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, crumbled bacon, Buffalo sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Assembly
  1. Take a small amount of the chicken mixture and flatten it in your hand. Place a cube of mozzarella in the center and wrap the chicken around it to form a ball. Repeat until all mixture is used.
  2. Set up three bowls for flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs. Roll each ball in flour, dip in the egg, and then coat in breadcrumbs.
Cooking
  1. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Once hot, carefully drop in a few bombs at a time, frying until golden brown and cooked through.
  2. Drain on paper towels.

Notes

Serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping. Enhance flavor with fresh herbs. Can be customized with different cheeses or spices.
