Ingredients
  

Pasta
  • 8 ounces elbow macaroni Cook until al dente
Cheese Sauce
  • 1 cup Boursin cheese Provides creaminess and flavor
  • 2 cups milk Use whole milk for richness
  • 2 tablespoons butter For melting with milk
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese Adds depth and flavor
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Garnish
  • chopped parsley Optional for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the elbow macaroni and cook until al dente, about 7-8 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Slowly whisk in the milk, stirring until well combined.
  3. Stir in the Boursin cheese and grated Parmesan. Cook until the cheese melts and the sauce is smooth, about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce, mixing well. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Allow to cool slightly before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, add cooked bacon, sautéed mushrooms, or mix in your favorite veggies like spinach or broccoli. Top with crispy breadcrumbs for a lovely touch.
