Method
 

Preparation
  1. Slice 1 lb of flank steak into thin strips against the grain.
  2. In a bowl, combine 6 Tbsp of low sodium soy sauce, 3 Tbsp of light brown sugar, and 1.5 Tbsp of corn starch. Stir until well mixed.
Cooking
  1. Heat 2 Tbsp of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the marinated flank steak to the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes without stirring.
  3. Stir in 1 lb of fresh broccoli florets, grated ginger, and grated garlic. Cook for another 3-4 minutes.
  4. Pour the sauce mixture over the beef and broccoli and stir well. Let it simmer for about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

Consider marinating the beef for 30 minutes for enhanced flavor. Customize by adding other vegetables like bell peppers or carrots. Serve with a side of fried rice for an extra treat!
