  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese Sharp cheddar enhances the flavor.
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs Use for coating the balls.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, chopped bacon, jalapeños, and cheddar cheese until smooth.
  2. Add the garlic powder and onion powder to the mixture and stir until well combined.
  3. Use your hands to form small balls from the cheese mixture, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Roll each ball in panko breadcrumbs until fully coated.
  5. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Cooking
  1. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  2. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
