  • 8 ounces rotini pasta (or elbow macaroni, or shells)
  • 1 cup sour cream Adjust based on creaminess preference
  • ½ cup liquid ranch dressing Or substitute with homemade ranch
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese Grated fresh for better flavor
Bacon and Vegetables
  • 6 slices bacon Cooked until crispy
  • ¼ cup green onions Chopped; chives are an alternative

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and let it cool.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the sour cream and ranch dressing until combined.
  3. Add the cooked pasta, cheddar cheese, crispy bacon, and green onions to the bowl.
  4. Stir everything together until the pasta is well coated.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning if desired.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes before serving.

Notes

For an extra flavor kick, add a squeeze of lemon juice. Customize with your favorite veggies, like bell peppers or cherry tomatoes. Serve at room temperature for a more relaxed feel at large gatherings.
