Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add chopped onions and mushrooms to the skillet and cook until tender.
  4. Stir in beef broth, milk, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
  5. Pour the meat mixture into a greased baking dish.
  6. Spread the prepared mashed potatoes over the meat mixture.
  7. If using, sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until heated through and cheese is bubbly.
