  • 2 cups Dill pickles, sliced Use crispy dill pickles for best results.
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs Seasoned breadcrumbs work well.
  • 1 large Egg, beaten For vegan option, use flaxseed meal and water.
  • 0.5 cup Flour For dredging pickles.
  • to taste Cooking spray To prevent sticking in air fryer.
  • to taste Spices (paprika, garlic powder, black pepper) Customize spice mix to preference.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the dill pickles into thick rounds or spears.
  3. Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with a beaten egg, and the last with breadcrumbs mixed with spices.
Breading the Pickles
  1. Dredge each pickle slice first in flour, then dip it in egg, and lastly coat it with breadcrumbs.
  2. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
Cooking
  1. Place the breaded pickles in a single layer in the basket. Spray the tops lightly with cooking spray.
  2. Cook for about 10-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even crispiness.
  3. Once golden, remove the pickles and let them cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Sprinkle some extra spices over the pickles before air frying for added flavor. Customize the breading with different seasonings. Serve with a variety of dips.
