  • 2 lbs chicken breast Cut into even pieces for even cooking.
  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce Main liquid ingredient for full flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons honey Adjust for desired sweetness.
  • 2 cloves garlic Minced.
  • 1 tablespoon ginger Grated.
Vegetables
  • 1 cup bell peppers Sliced.
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
Seasoning
  • salt and pepper To taste.
Optional Serving
  • cooked rice or noodles For serving.
Optional Finishing
  • sesame seeds or green onions For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Gather all the necessary ingredients, including chicken and vegetables.
  2. Cut the chicken into uniform pieces.
  3. Slice the bell peppers and broccoli into bite-sized pieces.
Cooking
  1. In your crockpot, place the chicken pieces first.
  2. Pour in the teriyaki sauce, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
  3. Add the sliced bell peppers and broccoli florets on top.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours, stirring halfway if possible.
  6. Ensure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
Serving
  1. Serve the teriyaki chicken over rice or noodles.
  2. Top with sesame seeds or green onions before serving.

Notes

Customize the vegetables used or adjust the amount of honey and sauce to fit taste preferences. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
