  • 1 cup whipped topping, thawed

Preparation
  1. Begin by dissolving the lime gelatin in boiling water. Stir continuously until the gelatin is completely dissolved, ensuring a smooth base for your salad.
  2. Gently stir in the 7UP soda. The carbonation will add a light, bubbly texture to the gelatin mixture.
  3. Add the drained crushed pineapple and miniature marshmallows to the gelatin. Mix carefully to distribute the ingredients evenly throughout the mixture.
  4. Fold in the cottage cheese, which adds a creamy and slightly tangy element to the salad.
  5. Gently incorporate the whipped topping until the mixture becomes smooth and well combined. This step creates a light, fluffy texture.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a mold or serving dish. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until the salad is completely set.

Notes

For an extra burst of citrus, add lime zest. You can substitute the lime gelatin with other flavors, such as strawberry or orange.
