  • 1 cup full-fat cottage cheese, blended until smooth Ensure it’s blended well to avoid lumps in your dough.
  • 1 cup self-rising flour Store in an airtight container to retain its leavening power.

  • 1 tsp garlic powder Optional, but enhances flavor.
  • to taste Italian seasoning Optional, adjust according to personal taste.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine 1 cup of blended cottage cheese and 1 cup of self-rising flour. Stir until a dough forms without overmixing.
  3. If desired, sprinkle in garlic powder and Italian seasoning, and fold gently to incorporate.
  4. Lightly grease a loaf pan, pour the mixture in, and smooth the top. Optionally, sprinkle more cheese on top.
Baking
  1. Place the loaf pan in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  2. Check readiness by inserting a toothpick into the center; it should come out clean.
  3. Once done, allow the bread to cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

For more flavor, add chopped herbs or spices. The bread can be customized by adding finely chopped vegetables or sun-dried tomatoes.
