Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine 1 cup of blended cottage cheese and 1 cup of self-rising flour. Stir until a dough forms without overmixing.
- If desired, sprinkle in garlic powder and Italian seasoning, and fold gently to incorporate.
- Lightly grease a loaf pan, pour the mixture in, and smooth the top. Optionally, sprinkle more cheese on top.
Baking
- Place the loaf pan in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Check readiness by inserting a toothpick into the center; it should come out clean.
- Once done, allow the bread to cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
For more flavor, add chopped herbs or spices. The bread can be customized by adding finely chopped vegetables or sun-dried tomatoes.
